Is there a comma between 'Moreton' and 'Campden'? |

In the header of a b.cert, there's a bit that says "Births in the subdistrict of ______" |

Maddie, MarieCeleste &brummiejan - many thanks indeed for your help and suggestions. As you can probably tell, I'm a bit new to this! |

The registration district from the birth index might help. That means we could then see what parishes were covered by that district. |

Could anyone help with local knowledge for the Chipping Campden/ Moreton in the Marsh area please? I have a birth certificate from 1922 that gives the place of birth as Moreton Campden. I have been unable to find this on maps or by Googling. Does anyone know where it was/is or if perhaps it was some sort of local 'short-hand' term for a more general area? |
