	From the marriage certificate, what is his father's name, and what were the names of the witnesses? The 'Augustine' does not show on the marriage index, do you know when he used his second name?

	If he knew his father, the details will be on the marriage cert No second initial for him on the record of the marriage on the GRO index I'm guessing that your friend is his daughter........does she know whether he paid maintenance for her?
