I have my dads birth cert. he was born 23rd Sept. 1914 .,named John Owen Williams, his parents were named as John Williams (gardener) and Hannah, nee Hughes. (Domestic) at the time of dads registration they lived at 4Gemig st, St Asaph. I cannot find anything to confirm their births or marriage, any help would be good |

Could this be John and Hannah in the 1911 census (although they say they are single at the time) The head of the household is called Owen so John and Hannah's son's middle name could be after him:- |

Thought it worth posting as it was the only one that popped up. Never mind back to the drawing board. |

Wonder if this is the 1911 family :- |

Could they have married after the birth of John Owen (considering that it was war time? There is this marriage in Denbighshire but they both have middle initials which are not on the birth certificate for their son so might not be the one:- |

Going back to 1911 family (and 1881) I think this could be the John Henry Williams in 1891:- |

The marriage posted by Catherine of Hannah Hughes to David Roberts would fit with this later marriage... |

The fact Hannah is listed as a domestic makes me think your father was their first child. Most likely she wouldn't be working if she had other children. |
