Find Ancestors

Trying to find Walter's army records without much sucess, we know he served in the army as he told us he lied about his age. we found a reference that we believe is him signing a Territorial Army form at Worcester in 1912 saying he was 17 years and 9 months old
regiment name;SW Bde RFA: St, Peter's Worcester, Cherry Orchard

gave us 2 numbers 845651 and 592543 thought one of these might have been his number but can find nothing.

He used to talk of drinking champagne on the steps of Armateres ???? true don't know anyone point me in right direction please :-S

And you may not be aware that over 70% of WW1 records did not survive a WW2 enemy bombing raid, which means that anyone finding a record for a relative is very fortunate.

Where was he living in 1911?

Have looked on army records, medals of honor, and other sites ancestry, seem to be getting nowhere fast :-0

Living at 6 Berwick Street Worcester in 1911 are Walter and Alice? Williams married 19 years 2 children born 2 living. So I guess they are his parents.

Yes this helps tremendously, definately the right Walter, it's my husbands father and he would never talk about the war!!! Now we know why!!!!
