could any one help please as iv just started with my family tree and not sure where to look next ,iv used some credits but seem to be stuck as to find my great granmother mary leonard.
my grandad (son of mary leonard) was james patrick leonard born in hull in march 1915 and died at sea on october 23rd 1943 ,my great grandmothers name mary leonard and also great stepgrandad`s name james patrick boyne was on the death naval records for my grandad.
i require any information about mary leonard and james patrick boyne and any siblings of my grandad would be most grateful .

There are some births on freebmd for Boyne / Leonard but in Leeds not Hull and quite a while after the marriage so may not be your family.

If James Boyne was his step father of James Patrick Leonard then it looks like Leonard was Mary's name when she first married?

Info off a tree says Mary leonard 1885 Hull had Kathleen mary leonard 12/10/1911 died in leeds,she married John Charles Clarke 1909- 1974 and had a son.

Same Mary leonard married James Boyne.
