	Poster already knows he married Harriet Roberts in 1903. It's Alice's maiden name we need to find. Not seeing an obvious marriage in Sheffield. You might need to purchase one of the childrens birth certs ( Alice or Charles)

Member Since: July 2005 Posts: 1,379 Send Message	Yes Mike, but having seen the 1911 census with 22 years married written on it, I was putting up the marriage which the poster presumably is referring to. The dates are obviously open to interpretation. It also shows him as only Arthur, no second name, which may or may not help in finding a first marriage
