Hi there, I have just ordered the marriage certificate. Suppose I need to wait until then as I don't even know her DOB. Again I have looked at 'trees' but also need her DOB. But thanks all the same.

I'm not seeing any Collings/Howell births.

You could try "Search all Trees" to see if any members have these people in their
trees.

The marriage cert will tell you how old Ellen was when she married and if she had been married before.

Researching:

Arthur was my Granddad, but was 'estranged' from the family. Born in 1904 Islington 17/12/1904, father Edwin, mother Eleanor.
Died 8/10/1974 Islington.
But what I am interested in was that he re married an Ellen Howell in 1949 Islington.
I nothing else about her, and would love to trace her/their family, as I am aware they had children, who would be my step relatives but I am desperatly tring to get hold of a photo of him, as my side of the family have nothing, can anyone help please. :-(
