Using Lancashire Online Parish Clerk i have located the baptism of my 4x great grandfather James -:

Abode: Parthouse parish of Rochdale
Baptised by: John Hirst

Their parents married 16/04/1799 at St Chad, Rochdale, Lancashire, England

I know nothing of John 1804 or parents birth years... but am interested in the possible link to Leeds, would this mean that they lived at some point in Leeds.

The baptism states that the abode at the time was in Leeds

I seem to remember doing some work on this family before - will try to bring up the thread. The family had probably moved to Leeds but had brought John to be baptised in their church.
