Trying to locate the birth mother for Amelia Bell c1845 Hornsey Middlesex, her siblings Ellen Bell 1845 Acton Middlesex and James Bell 1850 Hornsey.. Their father James Bell is listed as waiter "widower" on the 1851 cenus with these children..He appears to have remarried by the 1861 census and has the following children John 1853, Clara 1855, Sarah 1857 Arthur 1858 and Alice 1860...According to my source a Jane Harris is the second wife who James married in 1852, yet there is a Jane Harris aged 70 on the 1851 census who I presumed was the mother in law?? perhaps just a coinsidence :-S

Jane Harris is only 30 on the original of that 1851 census.
