trying to find birth details for John james thomas Dawes horton

think he was born april 1920, dont have mother or father details

Is Dawes his surname, and Horton where he lived?

i am researching for a friend and this is his father's name - the only thing i have found is from the probate registry 1951 where he was an administrator for his uncles estate and is listed there as John James Thomas Horton

horton is the surname not sure where the dawes comes from, thats what he said his father's full name was but i cant find anything

Was his Father married to his Mother, and, if so, has he got the marriage certificate for the grandfather's name?

Who was the uncle that granted him probate? Working back from him might help.

he has no certificates but i just found the marriage entry for his mother and father in 1943 so will give him this information and get him to order copy marriage cert, thanks for your help though
