Phoebe Coggs 1791 thatcham Berkshire, married william gibbons in 1814 of wallingford, Oxfordshire/Berkshire
William died 1829 and Phoebe married Edmund Lewis (I cannot find any record of this only of their son William Edmund Lewis born 1831 wallingford)
Phoebe's second husband Edmund died Jan 1840 and she marries for the third time (6 months later) to John Higgins in Jul-Sept 1840.

can anyone find any evidence of Phoebe's marriage to edmund Lewis please?

She may not have married him, poddibly just assumed his name.

thanks for your replies.
I have contacted the person with Phoebe Coggs in his line and that is when I discovered she had married Edmund Lewis.
It is quite funny as in the st Peters churchyard Wallingford, Oxford Phoebe's 2nd and third husband are buried together with her son from her first marriage. Very interesting lady I think.
