This is only a possible, Cecil House (no 266)

London, England, Electoral Registers, 1832-1965
about Janet L Allard Name: Janet L Allard
Year: 1958
County or Borough: Southwark
Ward or Division/Constituency: Southwark
Street Address: 3501 Youngs Buildings

might appear to be a women's hostel? only going by all female residents and that previous entry is a mens hostel??

Was there a father's name for Janet?

Marilyn

Marilyn Report 4 Mar 2013 23:05

I found those . His father was Frederick and his mother Eleanor. What has happen to the rolls before that but as they would be the ones that could help.He seems to be on his own in 1935 and then went to live with his mother and father.

Thomas was born Shoreditch I take it from the age you give, there IS a Thomas on the electoral reg for 1934- 39 but not sure if that might be Thomas's father? Do you have the marriage cert for Thomas and Janet for their fathers names?

Marilyn

Marilyn Report 4 Mar 2013 23:01
