Find Ancestors

hi i am starting a new search but havent an awful lot to go on.
john mcdonald born 1910 lancs
joanne waterhouse born 1910
both married dec quarter 1938
have found 4 of the children born in the 40s anthony,carmel,francis.shelagh,but cant find barry.
cant find anything for a joanne waterhouse but her surname comes up on the births.
can anyone suggest anything please

Have you got the marriage cert to confirm her age and give the name of her father ? But I presume not

Barry is probably John B born 1941

thank you for that info and i think its right. i can now apply for a marriage cert as i have the correct name and move a bit further,then i can find where she was living at that time because i cant find anything on the 1911 census.plus the cert will tell me who her father was.

i cant seem to place them in any particular census although i know ann waterhouse lived with her aunt at a mounted police stables as a child in chorlton on med lock manchester [not being lazy]but could anyone place them

hi gone back as far as 1881 and traced the mcdonalds,i now have to go back further
to ireland is there a free census for this and it dosent say what part of ireland

The only Irish census that exists is the 1901 and 1911 (all previous were destroyed).
