Marie
Nice to Know your name
Yes I tried the search faciliy first up
All that have a Doris Templar I have contacted before
I also Have access to thier trees
That is why I put the message out in the fist place hope that someone might regonize it
I have in my tree most of the Templar on the NW Coast of Tassie
I am one of them
Mind you there are TWO lines of Templars on the coast
Each line is seperate
They arrived in Tassie within twenty years of each other
they are unrelated althought are connected via a series's of Marriages
I dont know which line this Doris ruth belongs to
Will find out eventually
I started by going to Cemetaries looking for anyting about Templars
I took a picture of the headstone/Plaque with the view to follow it up later
I have assumed that she will fit in to my tree somewhere

Hello Peter, why not use the "Search Trees" facility on the Search menu to see if anyone else has her in their tree?

The information offered on here is in good faith and with kind intentions.

Yes I have seen the electrol rolls
Australian Cemetary Index may only have 28 but there are far mor than that
I only put the Q out there to see if someone woul regonize it
Rest of Plaque says
"In loving Memory Of " and
"In Gods care"
So that tells me nothing

Australia Cemetery Index, 1808-2007 lists 28 Templars buried in Tasmania, but Doris Ruth isn't one of them

What does the rest of the grave plaque say? Does any of it seem relevant?.

All
I have a picture of a Grave Plaque
Part of it reads "Doris Ruth Templar"
1917-2000
"Loved by Jenny and her Family|"
Picture taken by myself at a cemetary on the NW coast of Tasmania in 2009
Hopefully someone here may just Know who Doris and Jenny are
