hi everyone my grandfather William james walker dob 1887 was sent to dr barnados babies castle hawkhurst kent in 1901 from there he was forstered to a family in hawkhurst until 1899 when he was despatched to Canada. I was trying to trace the family who he was fostered to would I go through the parish council records apparently babies castle did not keep records although I have records of him being admitted to barnados in Stepney and all records when he was sent to Canada but missing the link to the foster family just wondered if anybody could help thankyou linda hill
