Thank you Mary, that looks very hopeful. I understsnd he was in the wool trade in later days.

I just found this death, which correspods with her birth year of 1864, so the idea of dying in childbirth is probably wrong

I am still catching up, so thanks to AnnCardiff and Astra - my money is now on George and Rhoda. A marriage certificate seems to be the way forward, for certainty
