Hi
I was wondering if any one could help, im trying to find information on Robert Speddy, brn abt 1794, Lancaster died 13 Aug 1867.., trying to find parents for him, and any sibllings maybe,
I found two marriages for him 1st 1820...2nd 1832...
I have came up against a brick wall , If any one could help much appreciated

Hi glitter baby yes got him on 1851 census, and 1861 too i also found him in prison

There is nothing on the IGI for him and nothing on Findmypast baptisms. Maybe someone with Ancestry could check the baptisms on there.

His parents could well be dead by the time of the 1841 census.

On the 1841 census there are only three males named Speddy who are old enough to be Robert's father living in Lancaster, but of course his parents could be living anywhere - if they were still alive.

There is a James Speddy on 1841who would be just about old enough, but he and his family are living out at Cockerham

Hi reggie, thats not far from lancaster, possible they lived out there then moved to lancaster :-)
