There is nothing on the IGI for him and nothing on Findmypast baptisms. Maybe someone with Ancestry could check the baptisms on there. |

On the 1841 census there are only three males named Speddy who are old enough to be Robert's father living in Lancaster, but of course his parents could be living anywhere - if they were still alive. |

There is a James Speddy on 1841who would be just about old enough, but he and his family are living out at Cockerham |

Hi reggie, thats not far from lancaster, possible they lived out there then moved to lancaster :-) |
