Find Ancestors

Understand he was born in Cornwall. Around 1820 onward. Any help would be grateful.

How have you arrived at those details

Hello Marian and welcome to the Community boards.

The link below takes you to an excellent site for Cornish records but, although having a quick look, there are very few with the name of Levey on it and I certainly couldn't find a Richard.

As GlitterBaby has indicated, we could really do with a few more clues please.

Thank you all for your replies. I have joined, then rejoined with help from my nephew might account for two "accounts". I really wanted to know where my ancestor lived in Cornwall. The certificate only lets me know he was born in Cornwall so that I wanted to find out more. It seems from your replies that he was born in Bodmin so now my research will be to find out who his first wife was before Emma.

Buying credits has been why I have been a member then not and unfortunately most of the information I gathered years ago went on a floppy disc and now I only have printed copies. Time means I have not gone around to making up a more comprehensive tree. Sorry!!!!! :-)
