Many thanks for your time researching for me. I am interested in the marriage of Richard & Amelia Sophia Bentley. This is my gr gr grandparents. I have a marriage for them but it is a little different than yours. The place, date of marriage and witnesses are different to what I have.
Marriage solemnized at Ballysax Church in the Parish of Ballysax in the County of Kildare.

He would have been at sea at the time of the 1871 census on 2 April.

But of course he wasn't the only Peter Taylor born 1846 or 1847!

It sounds like the scrambled preview found on the GR version of the British Newspaper Archives.

I've had a quick look for London and 1862, but

a) there are over 1000 results for either Peter Taylor OR Dr Noble
b) none of the previews seem to be from the Illustrated Times.

You could try searching again on

Doesn't make a lot of sense!

I wouldnt put money on it, it's a not uncommon name

I have been trying to find Peter Taylor, b 1847, St Luke, Chelsea, London. He is with his family in 1851 census and 1861 census, age 14, with his mother Elizabeth and brother Richard living at 78 Queens Road, Chelsea. I have not been able to find anything else on him - no marriage or death.
I have just come across this article in the Illustrated Times - Feb 15 1862. Publication: London, Middlesex, UK.
Text: "...at and in consequence of this quarrel Mr. a slipped in on the death of Dr. Noble last but this I is at an or partially and that Mr. Peter Taylor is likely to be The new writ is moved for Great vacated by the elevation..."
Can anyone please help me with what this all means - maybe my missing Peter Taylor!! Thanks
