ArgyllGran Report 8 Apr 2013 17:57

If that's the correct census record, her surname is actually REED - mistranscribed.

I don't see any likely death record after 1910 for a Harriet Reed (or variation) on FreeBMD, going by age .

Here's her marriage:

Marriages Mar 1861 (>99%)
Mason Harriet Amia Clerkenwell 1b 56
Reed James Clerkenwell 1b 567

Harriet reed daughter is Clara angles pooles in the 1911 census Harriet name was transcribed as reeds this was a mistake.

ArgyllGran Report 8 Apr 2013 18:14

There's this slight possibility:

EDIT:

Deaths Mar 1927 (>99%)
Read Harriett 86 Edmonton 3a 718

I'm picking that one because daughter Clara died in Edmonton registration district:

Deaths Jun 1925 (>99%)
Pooles Clara A 57 Edmonton 3a 529

In 1918 electoral lists, Clara is listed at the 1911 address with her husband, but Harriet does not show there.

Shirley Report 8 Apr 2013 19:40

Yes I guess it would be wise to assume Harriet dies between the 1911 census and the 1918 electoral roll but I have been unable to locate. Harriet daughter retires to guernsey so it possible Harriet may have gone there but unable serch these records online I think.

Have you considered that Harriet might have remarried?
Unlikely, I know, but when I 'lost' someone, we were surprised to find her re marrying aged 82 !
