trying to find any information about my uncle William John Charles. he sailed from london to australia 18/10/1924 on the ORMUZ. his parents Stephen Charles and Florence Sarah Jane nee Sageman lost all contact .
any help would be appreciated.

A William John CHARLES married in Victoria in 1939 to Ada Emeline BOURBAUD (reg 117). Ada was a divorcee and born c1899. Her first husband was Horace Edward BOURBAUD (they divorced in 1937). Horace was a mechanic; they married ion 15th Nov 1919 in Wiltshire UK, and had 2 children.

Might be a different Wm...there are a few. Wm & Ada appear to gether in electoral rolls in Yarra district.
