Trying to find Wilfred and Dorothy Harrop on 1911 census. They were born in Rotherham but were married in Dudley Staffordshire in 1908. Found a child born 1910 (jack Harrop) but he was living with his maternal grandparents Daisy and John Cottam in Rotherham. Jean H.

According to his Army Record he married Dorothy on 30 Aug 1908. There is only one child listed John Herbert born 15.5.09 Rotherham (persumably this is Jack)

Thank you all for your replies. I just found it strange that Jack was at his maternal grandparents and no sign of Dorothy or Wilfred.Harrop. Then I remembered that he did join the army when young. I find it all a bit confusing at the moment. so I hope you receive this reply with many thanks, Jean
