I have information that Frederick George Andrews (born 1905 London) was killed in 1945.
I have not been able to find any printed information on this incident.
He was murdered by Grove Park Station 6 May 1945, I understand that he was found with his watch, fountain pen and £5 still on him, he died from head injuries a few days later.
Older members of my family have given me this information and they have found the memory unsettling so I have not questioned them further.
If anyone could point me in the right direction to get proof of this event I would be very grateful.

Thank you both I have just ordered his death cert from GRO and will have to wait for the cert, about 2 weeks to get to me here in Oz before I can find any other hints.
