Olwen,

It is freaky that I have driven past the house many times over the past 40 odd years. Next time I'm down that way I'll have to drive past and have a closer look.

My dad and aunt grew up in Tripod Street which is around the corner and when my aunt got married they bought a house down the street.

What a shame that my dad and aunt have passed away as they might have known Hazel and her family.

Thank you all so much for the information given. Lancelot Sayer had been my bug bear and was struggling finding anything and jsut 1 simple request and I am so further forward.

Gai particular thanks for all your help and also giving me information I can follow up. Isn't it a small world, to think that you drove past the actual house that hazel Jean lived in.

Regards

On Georgina death notice in paper states beloved mother of Heather, Hazel and Lancelot. On the roll there is a Hazel and Lancelette Jessie residing with Georgina.
I think Lancelot in paper should have been Lancelette.

Tony, thank you so much for this.

I had searched but couldn't find it and concentrated on the surname. However, I noticed his forename was spelt as LAUNCELOT and my search for Lancelot. That will teach me.

Regards

Olwen

I can find no further trace for him. Tried surname sayer, sawyer, Sawer.

On ancestry a few trees show him marrying a Georgina Margaret Lewis in 1911 in Huntsville, New South Wales and they have 3 children. None of them have any supporting evidence for this. I cannot find any trace of him going to Australia.

Can anyone help with this please'

Thanks
