Looking for a John McEnnulty born 1826/27 ( possibly Ireland ) married a Mary Ann Oldfield in Tasmania 1859
I have been told that they where both convicts ( I haven't been able to find any evidence of that. )
John was supposed to be an educated man but was transported for uttering false documents in1853. Have been told he was tried with his father but he was cosidered to old to be transported.
On his death cerificate he was John Joseph McEnnulty

I was able to tie up a lot of loose ends But I have now come across a
Looking for a John James McEnnulty born 1826/27
The previous John also has a secound name
John Joseph McEnnulty born 1826/27
Still unable to find their birth - would it be possible that these two where twins.
Not much out there on John James.
Would love to find their parents- i think they are the McEnnulty's that came to Tasmania.
Not finding them coming into Tasmania either.
Has anyone any ideas of where I could look.

Hi All,

Still trying to find my John McEnnulty before his marriage to Mary Ann Oldfield.
I have managed to find their resting places and that Mary married again after John's death.
Before his marriage he had a child with Mary and was registered as the father under the surname McAnally.
Have now tried researching that surname - again brick walls.
I did find a John McAnnally born 1825 Ireland that was tried in Limerick 1849 and sent to VDL for 7 years.
He arrived in VDL 14th september 1852
Does anyone know how to trace those records or any other help would be appreciated
