Hi just wondered if anyone could find a birth for a Venett and Carol Simpson born 1940's (not twins) NSW Aus Mother Laura Peal Johnston ( maiden name) father Thomas Nixon Simpson. Thanks Cyndi M

BIrth indexes on the NSW archive site only go up to 1912. The Australian government have much stricter privacy laws than Britain - unless you know otherwise, these people could be alive and in their 70's.

Not what you are after, but a possible lead?

You asked the same question on the Find Living Relatives board in Jun 2011 which was found by making an iternet search for Vennett

Rather than start a new one, its best to just add to the original and delete this. It avoids confusion and duplication of efforts. For instance, the Ryerson index had already been found and posted which you later said you had. As you are looking for the children, it doesn't matter

If you type' Still Looking', on the FLR thread that will bring it back up to page one again.

.. maybe you could try the 'NSW State Library' (on-line) -it has an 'Ask a Librarian' service ...they will search electoral rolls -past and present.
All 'State' libraries offer same service i.e. 'Qld State Library')

There is a Laura Pearl Simpbon in the 1980 Electoral Rolls for Mount Morgan in Queensland.

Can't find a Laura Simpbon before this so maybe it's a typo and should be Simpson

Also sent Cynthia a pm.
