Find Ancestors

Hi,
Can anyone help me. I am trying to trace the family of Michael Dobjinsky born in Russia and then came over to England about 1880s. His wife was Jany/Janey who was also born in Russia. Their children were born in England according to the 1911 cencus. Does anyone know how I can find a marriage or Birth from Russia

this looks like a very possible match. where did you get this from? im wondering if there is a marriage to a jane/janie/janey but i dont know the surname yet. i have applied for her death cert so hoping that will give me her maiden name :-)

Am I imagining it or was there another thread about this family which had a fair amount of relevant information and suggestions on it? Can't find it now and I thought I had posted in it
