yes the nora isabella morrison -Manchester South.On her birth cert.gives mothers name as Ivy Irene Morrison nee Currie,but on her mothers marriage cert.gives maiden name Ivy Irene Morrison nee Rylance.

Argyllgran makes a good point. They are both very Scottish. Surnames.

There is no definate marriage for her parents, unless you have a idea of where they married? (Nothing. Coming up in the lancashire area for a Morrison to a Currie.

You would need to order her birth cert to get her parents names, to the search for their marriage.

Births Dec 1927 (>99%)
Morrison Nora I Currie Manchester S. 8d 221

Were her parents Scottish? Both Morrison and Currie seem like Scottish surnames.
