Hi - I'm trying to trace the family of the above named person, who was my great grandmother. Her details are: born 1878, Hayle in Cornwall; married John Frederick White in Cardiff 1897; lived in Barry, East Glamorgan; died 1939 same place. Children: Lillian May; Lois Emily; John; Alfred and Joseph.

I'm particularly interested in her forebears. Her father was apparently a Peter MacKinnon so presumably he's from Scotland. Any help would be great. Thank You!

I first sent Sharon a message on how to return to a thread back in April. The message was opened but not acknowledged.

I then sent her one on 1st May and 21st May - they have not been opened as yet. :-(

Hello - I've only just been able to get back to this as work commitments meant that I couldn't spend any more time on it. I'm so grateful to you for looking into this for me but am struggling a bit to follow it - there's such a lot of information.

Interested in the last entry as it gives John McKinnon as a professional mariner as was my own father, who may have been his great grandfather. I'll follow it up! Thank you!
