Hi evervone I am still trying to find out more details about my Grandfather William Herbert Walker he was born in Halifax Yorkshire in 1889 we believe that he was the adopted by a Canadian family the Van Leuvens the next we know he was in the Royal Navy in Devonport Plymouth Devon HMS Active he was married in 1912 to Louie Potter my Gran they had several children including my Dad William Edwin Walker They went to live in Bedwas Monmouthshire S.WALES he died quite young in1932 I have obtained their marriage certificate which has told me that William Herberts father was called John and tat he was a labourer can anybody give me any more info on him or his ancestors please Glyn
