Who were Harry's Parent's? There is another entry in 1904

thanks Londonbelle but unless he changed his occupation in the year he was in Boston he was a printer in both 1911 and on the outward journey

It was the only one I could find as well

the outward passenger list has a line through his name and some scrawl against it. does anyone know what this means please

It says Father Rd Hy Johnson 64 Hutchins St Manchester.

Harry's brother in law was Chistopher pearce who did have a younger brother Fred

yes I can see the image Would the crossing out mean perhaps that they did not actually travel?

I don't know about that but they are not the only ones crossed out on that page. Fred is a year younger than Harry on the list.

I wonder if the lines through the previous ones meant they had missed the boat for some reason. The number of crossed out lines seems to equal the pencilled reduction of the number at the bottom of the page

Harry seems to have added a year on to his age (he was born Feb 1896 which is confirmed by his baptism & birth cert. so actually 17yrs 4 mths)
