	PM from John. Have asked him to return to this thread. Married 3rd July 1935 his address at that time was 119 Warrington Road Leigh. he was a cloth Looker, his fathers name was also George he was retired colliery Fireman. we are led to believe George Junior was killed in the second world war, but no record of that. all we have is his Marrage Cert. with Cecelia Leigh.

	What 'records' do you have in mind? Also........the places you suggest for birth are a long way apart............. Start by checking LancsBMD http://www.lancashirebmd.org.uk/ and/or freebmd http://www.freebmd.org.uk/ Was he your direct ancestor? Please tell us all you know....................

	There are these 4 shown on Lancs BMD around that time - all show mother's maiden name. 	Welcome to the boards, John. Presumably this one: Births Jun 1910 LANCASTER George Leigh 8c 318 Where have you looked for records - do you know who he married or when he died? Added: There is also this one: Births Sep 1911 Lancaster George Brown Leigh 8c 508 and probably more, so looking for marriages will be difficult without further information. Yes: Marriages Sep 1935 Lancaster George Leigh Leigh 8c 679 Marriages Dec 1935 Lancaster George Barrow Leigh 8c 440 George Lancaster from Leigh, Lancashire married Cecelia Leigh in Leigh, the other one married Miriam Barrow (from Barrow??) :-)
