Lived at Hilltop Nr. Beaulieu for most of life, married Harriet Bull. Does anyone have birth details for William?

A search on FMP shows no baptisms for the surname Dymott, or varients, in Beaulieu for ten years either side of 1801. Maybe he came from elsewhere to live in Beaulieu.

Two possible baptisms in Hampshire but both are 14 odd miles from Beaulieu.

DYMOTT William 1799 Ibsley
DYMOTT Willm 1800 Fordingbridge

He could of course have come from anywhere.

Is he in the 1841 census? If so does he state he was born in County?

Thank you for your help with this, he has been a brick wall for a long time now..
The 1841 gives his birthplace as Hampshire, the 1851, 61, 71 & 81 all give Beaulieu, Hampshire. He dies in 1888 (of old age) at Hilltop, Beaulieu.
I will follow up your leads, especially as Fordingbridge is not too far away from Beaulieu.

Thank you for your help with this, it is much appreciated.
I have most of the Census' and many BMD certificates on this family, but I just can't get any further back until I find his birth.
The irony is that there are many people who have his wifes (Harriet Bull) family going back many generations, but nobody can find William Dymotts beginnings.
