I am trying to find out any information anybody has about my mother's father's family, my grandfather was Leonard Eley born 1919 in Holbeck, Yorkshire, his parents were Albert Eley (who was deceased by 1938) and Florence Louisa Holmes, he married Lois Emma Cordon in 1938, they had two children, she later died in 1944 while living with her family, on her death certificate her job is described "wife of Leonard Eley, Gunner, 15134?? r??",looks like he was in the militry, he then seemed to disappear, i think he remarried in 1950.
I have found out that Albert and his youngest brother married sisters( Leslie Eley married Ida May Holmes), but thats as far as i'm sure of, any help would be appreciated.
