Thank you, yes, that is what crossed my mind - I know they lived close to a Hospital (E London) but couldn't immediately see another Hospital in Wandsworth Reg - will do some more checking on the Reg District for Wandsworth and trawl through more 'lost hospitals', might just have to consider the death cert for the 8 year old. At least I have found her birth - I still have some 'small deceaseds' who are 'name unknown' to try to find!

We would look on FreeBMD and only come up with the same I think .
Depending where the girl was when she died would be the area registration.she may not have been at home but in hospital which may come under another district ,
For instance my grandfather lived. In S E London but died in 1941 in a Middlesex hospital where he had been transferred to for more specialist treatment

NEW QUERY
Just trying to track another from my Wilson Group
I had (I thought) the whole collection of grandchildren of Charles Wilson 1860 but it seems that there was another granddaughter:
Births Mar 1918 (>99%)
Wilson Eliza A Owen Hackney 1b [6_]13
It seems she died "aged about 14" according to information recently received, so I
am looking for her death record.
I have searched for any deaths of Eliz* Wilson 1912 to 1940, concentrating on Hackney (considering any in Poplar, Bethnal Green). Expecting a death circa 1932, all I managed to come up with was an Elizabeth F aged 16 died Poplar Sep 1932 but there was an Elizabeth F birth in Poplar Dec 1915, so discounted that death. The only other one which could be possible (but area and anticipated age are inconsistent with my information) is
Deaths Dec 1926 (>99%)
Wilson Eliza 8 Wandsworth 1d 600
Any suggestions/ideas please?

Yes it looks like the Alemap posting is the correct family of Wilsons and No I haven't gone any further back with the Priors yet so I appreciate the baptisms you have found - they certainly look as if they fit in with everything else.
I know it is likely to get more difficult now as I am getting back before 1837

Just to update - I have the birth cert - and MMN is Prior.
So now I have been able to locate a marriage - in Whitechapel - in June Qtr 1841 (Whitechapel Vol 2, page 461), which is looking like them.

Thank you. I think that is them too - I've noticed that John (father) has born Hertfordshire in 1851, but Essex 1861, 1871, 1881 and 1891. Might just check how close Nazeing is to Hertfordshire - might be on the border.
