The Praties/Coleman marriage would appear to be 1917 in Coatbridge. The certificate will give you ages, fathers names etc to help find him and his parents. From there the 1911 census of Scotland should help you locate his parents (5 credits)

I am trying to find any relatives of my Grandfather Thomas Praties. He was born in Dundyvan Road, Coatbridge, Scotland on 18 November 1921. His father's name was William and his mother was Maggie Coleman. If anyone has any information then please get in touch.
