Unfortunately, WiltsBMD has no Bs/Ds transcribed for the Wilton subdistrict.

I have no idea about siblings, however i have a relative called Valerie who i call Aunt Valerie, working out from the possible DOB of her above that would make her 82 now, she is still alive... I think she may be my mums Aunt considering i call her Aunt??

I also just found this information from a bit of searching about which indicates different siblings but matches with the birth place on the 1911 census above:

The birth is on freebmd, Catherine..........I deliberately didn't post it....................so that Samantha could have the 'buzz' of finding it for herself.

there's a death for him in Devizes, Wiltshire, but can't see a birth. Are you sure he was born there?

You need to buy his marriage cert. which will give you his father's name and occupation and his birth certificate will give you his mother's name, then you can look with more certainty at possible marriages for his parents. When you find that, their marriage cert. will give you both grandfather's names which help you go back even further. Without proof, all your findings will be just speculation.

According to his birth record his mother's maiden name was Jones.

If his parents married in Wiltshire then this is the only likely marriage I can see:-

I know that he was born 15/01/1927 in Devizes, Wiltshire
Married Davina Leslie/Lesley Hunter in Salisbury in 1961
Died March 1972

They had 4 children, Michelle Robert Sandra & Andrea.
I cannot seem to find any information about him apart from his date of birth and date of death.
My nan (Davina) cannot remember anything about him sadly so i thought it would be nice to find out for her.
