I am not sure when they left Tasmania. I would guess somewhere about 1854.
Ellen married in Hobart.

I have been unable to find where the four children of Alexander Laing (c1792-1868) and Esther Roberts/Robertson (1794-1841) went after they left Tasmania.
The children are:
John b1816 m Elizabeth Roper 1841
Alexander b 1819
James b 1820
Ellen b 1825 m William Roberts 1847
