	London, England, Births and Baptisms, 1813-1906 about Samuel George Lamb Name: Samuel George Lamb Record Type: Baptism Baptism Date: 28 Apr 1819 Father's Name: William Lamb Mother's Name: Lucy Lamb Parish or Poor Law Union: Greenwich Borough: Greenwich Register Type: Bishop's Transcript Born 4th April.....Greenwich Hospital Something is written in brackets under Lucy's name but i can't make it out. Under Samuel's name it reads......Scullery (Something) Mate. It has Williams occupation as Warrant Officer. I can understand William's occupation as being "Scullery Mate" but i don't understand the.........Warrant Officer! Perhaps someone else will take a look and be able to decipher it!

	On Ebenezer's Baptism record, his Father William's occupation is....Cook's Mate. England & Wales, Non-Conformist and Non-Parochial Registers, 1567-1970 about John Dixon Lamb Name: John Dixon Lamb Birth Date: 23 Dec 1821 Event Type: Baptism Father: William Lamb (Cook's Mate) Mother: Lucy Lamb Baptism Date: 3 Feb 1822 Baptism Place: Greenwich, Kent, England Denomination: Anglican Piece Title: Piece 1677: Greenwich, Greenwich Hospital (Anglican), 1813-1855

	Nurse to Infimary. The person above is....Cook to Infirmary and the person below Ebenezer is also....Nurse to Infirmary.

	please could someone help decipher original entry for lucy lamb 1841 census royal hospital school greenwich HO7/489/18 i cant quite make out the occupation, i have downloaded transcription from gr and it doesn:t give any occupations. left hand side shows schoolboys on original and her son Ebenezer is shown on right hand as a mariner she is about half way down right side thanks lynden
