Find Ancestors

Hi

I've been advised by someone who is connected to me that she has found my ancestors on the 1861 census - I have looked and looked but can't see the record...
Joseph Jones born 1851 (Wednesbury Staffordshire) with his parents Henry 1799 and Eliza 1814 living at South Road - not sure where that is.
Also can't find him on 1871 census but presume he stayed in the same area for bot those census as he married Ellen Williams 25/2/1872 West Bromwich
Please can anybody help with 1861/71.

Yes seen him with wife Mary in Canncok.

I wonder if those are missing census records as there dos'nt seem to be anything much for 1861 or 1871.

Hi Julie, I believe that your Henry Jones died between the 51 and 61 census. On the 1861 census Eliza is living alone on Walsale St., Wedenesbury. She's a widow aged 45, born Wednesbury. Your Joseph is working as a servant, a groom in the home of Thomas Jones in West Bromwich. It's hard to tell if his age is 10 or 14 but he was born Wednesbury, so I think it's him. Still looking for 1841. Margaret

Trying to find the rest of the family, in 1861 there are two Prudences of the right age and POB; one is married to a James Bartram and there is a marriage for James Bartram to a Prudence Gilbert. Could this be Prudence and her mother in 1841 (there is quite an age difference between Henry & Eliza in the 1851, also between the children):
