Not seeing a 1947 death.

There is this one which would make him born 1886 or 1887 (depending on accuracy of age as given by informant)

I have done other parts of my tree but left this part till last I have my great grandfather as john William linsay curran not sure of date I was given birth its 1880 or 1886 death 1947newcastle . I was told born irish but moved to byker Newcastle upon tyne where he met his wife Dorothy francis or fransis.
