Hello this is to ask if any one can help my great grandfather was Joseph Harland born 1842 in Manchester my great grandmothers name was Elizabeth Jessey Perrott they married in1863 they had three children Joseph born1875 Margaret born 1878 and died in1882 Harry born1885 died in 1949 and Margaret Ellen born 1888 my grandmother she died in 1933 what I really want to know is does any one know what happened to him some people say he went to Manitoba in Canada in1887 and died there and others say he died in Manchester what ever it was I would really like to know can anyone help Joe

EDIT: I know the age is a bit out, but that needn't rule out this death - depends on what the informant knew.

Can't see anything definitive for him in Canada, nor travelling there.

Personally, I think the Manchester death is more likely - unless you've already checked it out and found it's not him.

I can't find anything to prove that.
