This might be his death-if you go to:

http://search-collections.royalbcmuseum.bc.ca/Genealogy/AdvancedSearch

And just search for his name.

There doesn't appear to be any adult children living with the couple on any of the ER's. Do you know if they had children?

Thanks Ginns <3

So Dave,

You have a few more leads to follow:

You might try contacting the Crematorium mentioned on the death Cert - Royal Royal Oak Crematorium in Victoria,

or.. the Funeral Directors - First Memorial Services Ltd. of Victoria.

or you could try to find Mr Payette or any member of his family.

Any of them might give you further information on 'your' Douglas George.

Certainly there are contact details for the Crem. and the Funeral Services online - just google them.

You also have the name of the Hospital where he died - it may possibly be the one where he used to work?

Best of luck,

Dea x

BC births are closed after 1903 - there's an 85/20 y closure on M/Ds.

You could check the city directory to see if adult children ever appear with them.

Thanks to all who have replied to this post, it seems as though I won't have much luck finding any relatives of Douglas and Muriel, but at least I know more now than I did last week. :-D
