Hi,
many thanks for the information regarding my father brother, John Martin, born in Holborn in 1921, now in West London. When John and Alice got married in 1943, to move to Hendon, did they have children? Regards Andrew.

You can check for any children on FreeBMD using their surname combinations

i found the marriage in hendon but no children born there
a lot of martin - mason marriages in england will be hard to find

Andrew you should not start a new thread every time someone makes a suggestion

look at the left and click on 'My threads"

go to the one that has several answers that you marked as answered (never a good idea, and your main question is not answered in fact)

add any more questions you have to that thread by typing in the Reply box at the bottom, don't start another thread

that way everybody has all the information they need right there and people don't go looking for things twice, or three times


and also don't make assumptions :-)

that marriage is a possibility for instance but unless you have the marriage certificate, that is all it is
