I am looking for the sharkey family in wigan, Lancashire. John Sharkey was born about 1855, worked as a brick layers labourer and lived 235 whelley wigan. His father was Thomas sharkey (deceased at the time of the marriage). John had married Ann Lynch on 17th November 1892. She was born about 1860. She had a child out of wed lock, called William lynch born 1888. She was living at 4 glassbrooks yard wigan, working a cotton cleaner. I am very interested in finding out more about the family before they settled in England. They came from Co Meath and John after the death of Ann moved back to Ireland to carrickmacross. Little else is known about the family any help would be greatly appreciated.
