Amy, you might do best to send Susan a private message since this is her first time using the boards - she might not know how to find a reply here. |

Thank you everyone for your help regarding the Keen family. I was wondering if anyone knew anything about Deborah Hepworth, Rosa's granddaughter. DOB, if she is still alive or if she had any family? |

If you use the search facility at the top of the screen and from the drop down box click on "search all member trees" there is someone called Phyllis on this site who has Emily Dumbleton in her tree. You can click on her name and send her a private message. If she still has the same email address that she registered with Genes then she will be informed that she has a message from you. |

My father names Mark Keen as his father on the marriage certificate in 1938. Mark was deceased by this time. My father states his own occupation as Civil Engineer. The info you have all found out seems to be on the right track. |

If your father's first marriage WAS to Emily Dumbleton (and he used the Keen surname) then there are these births after 1911 :- |

FINALLY......I think this is Albert Keen and Emily Dumbleton after their marriage in the 1911 census (Albert born in the right place):- |

Does your father name Mark Keen as his father on your parent's marriage certificate (or is there no father mentioned) - just so we know we are looking at the correct family? |

Albert in his first marriage had as many as 13 children, goodness knows who they all are. I have drawn a complete blank on them. |

Already have a copy of my parent's marriage certificate Albert married Amy Elizabeth Lockley in 1938 my mother. |

I think for further information.........Amy needs to purchase a copy of the 1938 marriage certificate for Albert Bolton. |

That looks pretty good for Albert in the 1911 census PricklyHolly. I would imagine that he only used his actual birth name of Bolton on official documents - like marriage certificates etc. Probably always known as Keen so as the same as the rest of the family. |

I'm completely lost with Annie Elizabeth's parents now (although on Findmypast the mother's maiden name is Tustain rather than Tuscain). |
