Was just adding Probate details for William 1875, Castle Inn, Newport, then up came below...

Error Thread Does Not Exist

(well I'm not amused!, a lot of work looked up on that, including Welsh Newspapers, sun now out, time would have been better spent in garden, methinks!, not even a Thankyou given for it)

Dave must have deleted it as I have just checked my threads as I had posted on it and it has definitely gone!

Well it got interesting, possible link to William Sainsbury 1861 Newport, (wife Adelaide)

Anyway, after much time spent on it, literally disappeared, before my very eyes, I might add!, got my goat a bit, and as I haven't added a 'Topic' to GR, for many years, wasn't even sure how to do it, lol!.

Nevermind, moves on, all 'done and dusted' as they say, will add that one to 'memory box' of mine, hmm.

My thanks to rg (rootgatherer) also, for taking William back on Census.

How very irritating! Why the devil did Dave delete it?

The same thing happened a couple of days ago with a thread about an Allan Francis. Do these people not realise that the threads may prove useful to researchers at some later date?

When this happens, I always feel a conversation between the helpers has been rudely interrupted.

Novices can learn more about how to research using these threads as often the helpers can approach a brick wall from different angles.

Wonder how many hours we all wasted on this one. Just as well we are not easily put off helping others

All..I didn't see this thread (thankfully) as I would have got involved...I have Sainsbury's in my direct line! Albeit I have not found they moved from Trowbridge.
