I am looking into the above named gentleman, who is a great great nephew of my 2x great grandmother.

I am hoping someone may be able to confirm I have found the correct death record for him. Also I have been unable to find a marriage record if he did in fact get married.

In that case I would say that the death that you have is for the one born 1907, Saddleworth since the one with parents Edgar & Maggie was born 1906, Ramsbottom, Lancs.

As George's birth was registered in the first quarter of 1906, he may have been born late 1905.

Still not seeing a possible death for him nor a likely entry on the 1939 register.

It's very clear, Mark, that the one that you posted the death of in your opening post is not the son of Edgar & Maggie. He's the son of Harry & Mary in Saddleworth, Yorkshire.

So the question now is which one are you interested in?

I am interested in the children of Edgar Butterworth & Maggie Webster - Maggies mother is Hannah Yates who is the daughter of William Yates and Martha Howarth.
