Find Ancestors

Hi, I have worked back from 1901 to 1841. I have a Birth Cert for ALFRED JONES (my great grandad) born 23rd Nov 1849 to THOMAS JONES and SARAH OWENS at Brook St., Chester, Cheshire. (Great Boughton)
I can't find their marriage details. Their first child WILLIAM was born 7th June 1830 in WREXHAM Denbighshire Wales (same as THOMAS and SARAH) so i assume they married before this event and in that area.
I've had no luck on Ancestry either. I think I've found Baptism for SARAH but for THOMAS there's multiple choices.
Grateful for any tips..

thomas is a miner and a widower

I don't think the 1850 marriage is the right one. I think it is he one that Maddie put up of 1829. Chris ho had the family that is right I think and on one census a child is down as Cowin and it should be Edwin.
