Malcolm also put:

'Harry Cockshaw, born 1883. was a regular soldier in the Rifle Brigade during the years 1901 to 1913 and served throughout WW1 from September 1914 until 1919. I understand that around 1906 the Rifle Brigade were stationed in Ireland. '

so was Mr Healey in prison or Mr Cockshaw?

And why did they move to and from Dartford if Thomas Healey was a farm labourer?

From a pm from Malcolm

' The only record I can find regarding Stanley Frederick Cockshaw , pre the 1920's, is a school admission record in Derby in 1913 of a Stanley Healey, born 6th Oct 1906, father's name 'Harry' .'

So Harry Cockshaw was acting as father to Stanley before the 1915 wedding?

So can we find them in Derby in 1911, not Dartford and not Leicester, or had they just moved to the area in 1913, so could be anywhere in 1911?

I have looked and looked but can't find any of them on the 1911 either not even Stanely.

No joy finding them in 1911. :-(

patchem

patchem Report 1 Jan 2017 18:06

Thanks, Kucinta.

I do not understand why it shows on GRO, but when I look at the images from free bmd there is no Healey birth showing for that name, so something has been left off those lists. As the GRO details the mmn, then they are using a different list.

Anyone found any of them in 1911?

Kucinta Report 1 Jan 2017 17:19

I've managed to find an image for the baptism of Stanley Frederick Healey as detailed by patchem, and have pmed it to Malcolm ( Malcolm, just click on 'get attachments' at the end of the message I sent.)

patchem Report 1 Jan 2017 16:02

From the GRO website:
HEALEY, STANLEY FREDERICK COLLINS Order
GRO Reference: 1906 D Quarter in DARTFORD Volume 02A Page 632

Have not managed to find it on free bmd, even when I have looked on images etc

However, I have also asked some friends and they have found Stanley Frederick Healey christened at Holy Trinity Dartford on 29th October 1906 to Thomas and Lilian Healey, Westwood, Southfleet, farm labourer.

I am sure that the Lilian Collins born 1880 in Leamington, Warwickshire is the Lily/Lilian Healey who married Harry Cockshaw in 1915 but cannot find any record of a Lily/Lilian Collins marrying a Healey prior to 1915.

I am also trying to trace the birth of Stanley Frederick Cockshaw, born 6th October 1906. I cannot find any record of his birth under the names of Collins, Healey or Cockshaw.

I'm curious about that 1899 date, Malcolm. What have you found on that date?

Please respond on the thread by typing in the box below.

Malcolm -

If you don't know anything about Lilian after 1899, how do you know she is the same Lilian who married Mr Cockshaw?

Does the Healey / Cockshaw marriage cert say she was previously Collins?

EDIT:

Oh, yes, I see the probate says she was Collins.

Malcolm says that he has her history up to 1899 - so what would she be doing then?

A tree on ancestry has Mr Healey as Keeley or Keely, with little evidence for any marriage, but then gives her death details as posted above.
